And for our third show...
August 10-11, 16-18, 23-25 at 8:00 PM
Directed By: Eric J. McAnallen

The adventurous Louis de Rougemont invites you to hear his amazing story of bravery, survival and celebrity that left 19th-century England spellbound. Dare to be whisked away in a story of the high seas, populated by exotic islanders, flying wombats, giant sea turtles and a monstrous man-eating octopus.

“Shipwrecked!” examines how far we're willing to blur the line between fact and fiction in order to leave our mark on the world.

“A deft literate narrative folded into a vaudevillian romp with radio theater overtones. Colorful [and] compassionate speculations on the real-life deficiencies and pain that may have been at the root of Louis' need for self-aggrandizement." — Los Angeles Times

Is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York

Established in 1955, The Red Barn Players have presented live plays and musicals to Western Pennsylvania audiences for more than five decades.

Our all-volunteer group (a non profit organization) operates the beautiful Red Barn Theatre in the pastoral Pennsylvania countryside on Route 288 between Ellwood City and Zelienople. The Red Barn Players acquired the property in 2010 after having rented the barn for more than 50 years, and are in the midst of a capital campaign to pay off the mortgage on the property and make improvements to the theatre.
